Fair and square: these are the rules and regulations
1. Deadline to submit your picture(s) is February the 16th at 23.59 hrs. Pictures submitted after this deadline have to be excluded from the contest
2. You can send in a maximum of four pictures.
3. You can send them in in one or more of the following categories
- people
- nature/ wildlife
- culture or sports
- making a living
But in total no more then 4 pictures
4. The contest is meant to be a platform for young talented photographers, regardless if you are an amateur or professional
5. At the day of the deadline you cannot be younger then 18 or older than 35 years old*
6. We trust that you understand that we cannot allow any entries that violate common principles like violence, pornography or political/religious propaganda. Any such pictures will be removed from the platform without discussion.
7. You can only send in pictures that you have taken yourself*
8. By participating you take full responsibility of the content of your pictures, meaning that you make sure you do not violate the rights of the subject (portraits or art works). To ensure this make sure you have the consent of the person(s) in the picture. The organization is not liable for any claims.
9. By participating you agree that the pictures can be used for promotion purposes of the contest and related activities in order to support youth photography in Zambia at no cost. If this leads to any sales of the photographs, in whichever form, 80% of the profit will go to the photographers involved. The remaining 20% of the profit will be used to secure the continuity of the initiative and related youth development programmes.
10. You have the opportunity to send in photographs to the online coach connected to this initiative to get feedback and improve your pictures. you can do this at no cost. IMPORTANT: this is meant to learn, so you cannot send in the same pictures that you will send in for the contest. We trust you undstand that simply wouldn't be fair!;)

11. In order to get as many people involved and interested in photography, we invite the public to vote on their favorite picture. They can do so on this website. Voting starts from the opening of the contest till 14 days after closing. Encourage your network to visit the site and vote!
12. You can only vote once and on 1 picture. Once you have voted you cannot change it again, so study the pictures carefully before you vote!
13. There will be two winners per category**, one decided by the votes of the public and one elected by the expert jury
14. There will also be an overall winner. The votes from the public play an important role, but the expert jury has the final vote
15. There is no correspondence possible about the outcome of the contest
* The jury has the right to ask for additional information to support this
** The organization has the right to change this when the number of participants makes this necessary.
