The old artists (ever heard of Michelangelo?) used this and even in nature it is something to be often found: imagine dividing your picture into 9 even squares, by drawing two vertical lines and two horizontal lines . This will give you 4 points where the lines cross. Try to place your main point of attention on one of these points.
