APTers

 

APTers is a self help non profit making disability organization managed by persons with disability who are trying to empower themselves economically. We are proud that they supported this project with the fabrication of the easels on which the winning photo's will be exhibited!

The project was established in 1990 by the help of the wife of the British high commissioner by then( Mrs Archie Hinchcliffe who was the physiotherapist, and it is registered under the laws of Zambia by the Zambia agency for person with disabilities. The organization makes standing frames ,special chairs with trays for disabled children.

we also make commercial products such office trays box files , storage boxes ,pencil holders .nursery school tables and picture frames. All our products are made out of paper mache.
